2006 - 1st Year in Super Late Model Recap

Started out with a 1999 MasterBilt car, with a 383 steel block which was raced the first 18 races of the season. Then started racing a 2003 MasterBilt. It had a 415 all aluminum engine for Doug Peterman, AKA. Hoopie. Ran a total of 29 races at Midway Speedway, Muskingum County Speedway, Hilltop Speedway, Skyline Speedway, West Virginia Speedway, Challenger Speedway, and Lernerville Speedway which resulted in 10 top 10 finishes and 3 top 5 finishes. The best feature finish was 3rd place at Midway Speedway. The best run was the Skyline Harvest 50 with 2nd best qualifier and winning the fast dash - ended up 11th in the feature with some bad luck into lap traffic. I would like to thank Southend Tool and Equipment Rental, Al Fritter Logging, and Bob Bennett and family. THANK YOU.

Learned a lot in the first season, thought we had a great year and can't wait for the 2nd season to start!
